Galaxidi is a coastal and picturesque town located on the North coast of the Gulf of Corinth in the South-Eastern part of the prefecture of Fokida.
In Galaxidi, among other things, the picturesque port, the traditional mansions, the picturesque alleys and the churches stand out. Time here seems to have stopped at the time when Galaxidi experienced its greatest heyday. It has been characterized as a traditional and preserved settlement and is distinguished by the architecture of the captain’s houses.
What is worth seeing in Galaxidi is the Maritime and Ethnological Museum of Galaxidi, the Folklore Museum, the Girls’ School, as well as the Cave at the end of N.Mama Square.
